Once a year minium though every 6 months is better	Lifespan of around 25 years if cared for correctly. Is susceptible to wear and tear in hotter climates.	Locally sourced product	May include some defects (no more than 1/3rd of the cross section along the length of the board)	Perform recommended care every 6-12 months to ensure product lifespan. Clean the deck (with either warm soapy water or a deck cleaner solution). A pressure washer is best for washing down but don't overdo it! Modified Radiata Pine	Low-Medium Investment	Modified Pine requires ongoing cleaning to maintain the look and feel.	Lifespan of around 25 years, less susceptible to wear and tear than Pine Decking.	Locally sourced product	Pre-stained	Every year to ensure product lifespan.	Chemically treated to be harder and more resistant that standard pine. Reduces the risk of bending in warmer temperatures. Hardwood	Medium-High Investment	Hardwood requires ongoing cleaning to maintain the look and feel.	Lifespan of up to 50 years depending on species and if properly maintained	FSC(R) certified - excludes Vitex which is community produced from the Solomon Islands	High aesthetic. Some fading will occur over time. Kwila has a tencency to bleed and should not be used over vegetable gardens.	Requires cleaning every year using a light detergent with anti-fungal agent.. Oiling is recomended however is optional based on the desired aesthetic.	Pre-stained & chemical free	Read User Guide for information on how to best install this decking.
