The Makita 18V LXT Die Grinder features an aluminium bearing box with a 43mm diameter neck. The round collet nut minimizes any damage to the work piece, and prevents any scratches. It is powered by a 18V Lithium-Ion battery and operates at a high speed of 25,000rpm. The lightweight battery offers increased lifespan, and ensures a greater runtime than other types of batteries. The anti-restart mechanism prevents sudden initiation and consists of a warning lamp to indicate overload. The torque limiter facilitates the controlling of operating speed.
