The Size 4 smoothing plane with an 250mm x 50mm iron is designed to use in workshops, sites or fine finishing. This plane with a 45mm blade features a chrome carbon steel cutter that provides sharp cuts. It is precisely machined with fine grey iron casting base for added durability. Finger tip adjustment mechanism helps in changing the depth of the blade for cutter alignment. Lever cap screw hole has a kidney-shaped design that avoids slipping of the cutter. Cast iron base offers great stability and resists wearing. Spring steel cap features a tight fitting for getting precise shaving flow. It has fully adjustable frog for all tasks as well as timber types. The polypropylene handle and knob gives user comfort. It is suitable for final finishing of cabinet work and general joinery work.
