Independent lifetime testing of Delta Point drill bits averaged 609 holes in 20mm mild steel, ten times that of standard split point drill bits. This bit is suitable for drilling in ferrous and non-ferrous metals including mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, wrought iron, aluminium, copper, brass, alloys, and even timber and plastics.
