The 40Vmax XGT Brushless 1/2 inch inch High-Torque Impact Wrench with Friction Ring Anvil provides improved fastening control, ideal for automotive, installation, and fabrication trades. It combines extended run time and speed control for unmatched fastening and nut-busting performance. It is powered by a Makita built brushless motor for efficiency, runtime, and durability. The brushless motor delivers a maximum 1,700Nm of Fastening Torque and 2,200Nm of Nut Busting Torque. The electronically controlled brushless motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application. Precise fastening control is achieved through the 4-speed power selection switch, with additional precision features including three forward and three reverse rotation auto-stop modes. It features XPT, a protective seal inside the tool. It is designed to improve the tool’s operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components.
